About Frontaal
Frontaal Brewing Co. has been on the forefront of the craft beer scene since 2015. In 2024, we can proudly say that we are still one of the fastest-growing breweries in the Netherlands. In the last few years we’ve built up the largest beer community in the Netherlands, including up to 6.000 people who are indirectly are co-owner of Frontaal. You might know us of our hero Juice Punch or have drank one of our many one-offs in the last few years. Our mission is simple yet straightforward: crafting flavorful, both traditional and contemporary beers to take our position as one of the top-notch Dutch microbreweries. The slogan "Beer For Thought" isn't arbitrary; it envisions our core values. At Frontaal we place significant emphasis on fostering a sense of teamwork. Our team currently comprises over 30 people, including brewers, sales, marketers, and barstaff.
As of 2024, we’ve moved into a brand-new building in the beautiful city of Breda with a state-of-the-art, 60 hectoliter, automated brewing installation from ROLEC, alongside with a new, fully automated canningline. With our ever-growing brewery and an enthusiastic team, we’re on the lookout for a allround brewer to join our brew team!
Who we are
This is all we want to do, we brew beers that inspire, excite and challenge you to drink something different. There are so many flavours and variations to explore, which is why we brew over 24 unique specials and several barrel aged beers every year. We think from the principle "F*ck the status quo" and we do not make any concessions in quality. No mediocre beer is brewed in our brewery, we think freely and let our creativity flourish.
Assistant brewer
About the role
As an assistant brewer at Frontaal Brewing Company, you'll play a key role in crafting high-quality, innovative beers. You will be in touch with most of the areas of the brewing process – from helping during the brewing process to cellaring, quality control, cleaning, organization of the brewery and helping on the packaging lines.

What you'll do
Perform the daily cellaring processes, including purging, dry hopping and trubbing.
Prepare doing CIPs (Cleaning-in-place) to all the equipment of the brewery.
Help out on the brewing process (brewing cellar checks, milling) whenever is needed.
Be part of the packaging team on busy days (kegging and/or canning).
Perform lab analysis by the quality control department.
Clean and organize the brewery (fermenters, storage areas, etc.)
Participate in sensory tastings and quality panels.
Assistant Brewer
Your profile
Basic knowledge of brewing and cellaring processes
Able to follow detailed recipes and standard operating procedures
Experience in a production/packaging brewery is preferred
A formal brewing qualification is a plus; otherwise, background in a relevant field (e.g., process technology, chemistry, biology) is preferred
A passion for good quality beer
Team player who’s also capable of working independently
Strong written and spoken English (Dutch not required but a plus)
Flexible, hands-on attitude – you’re not a 9-to-5 type
Reachtruck certification is a plus
